More Week 8-MKMMA 2017/18: Detachment With Love

To have unconditional love for all, means that we expect NOTHING in return.  I must pour out my love regardless of whether that love is returned back to me or not.

I am grateful and celebrate each day!  This is my 3rd year in the Masterkey Mastermind Alliance.  Last week, I wrote on self-love.  As a self-lover, I fully accept and love who I am.  I, also, love myself enough to continue to grow and improve on this journey of life.  I choose to have a love for all regardless of the actions or treatment of me or others I for whom I care.  Whether or not another human being is loving, I am loving.

Make no mistake, I am self-righteous as a blue helper color code personality.  I want the world to be fair and idealistic, and I could work myself to the bone to make it that way.  However, in using S.M.A.R.T. goals is it truly realistic that I create this ultimate fair and idealistic Universe?  No.  I need to get specific on what piece of the pie I want to make my mark.  You can be, do, and have anything you want in life.  That being said, you can not be, do, and have everything at the same time.  (My subconscious mind wants that.   As endearing of a thought that is, I must guard with my conscious mind the focus of specificity which in turn keeps the purpose realistic and accomplishable.)

How is one to balance these two sides of thought especially when the first two principles of my faith are believing in the inherit worth and dignity of all people and justice, equality, and compassion in all human relations.  I can refer to Scroll II in Og Mandino’s The Greatest Salesman in the World which I am reading everyday several times a day.  “I love all manners of men (and women) for each has qualities to be admired even though they may be hidden.  With love I tear down the wall of suspicion and hate which they have built round their hearts and in its place I build bridges so that my love may enter their souls.”

It continues, “how do I react to the actions of others?  With love.  For just as love is my weapon to open the hearts of men (and women), love is also my shield to repulse the arrows of hate and the spears of anger.  Adversity and discouragement beat against my new shield and become as the softest of rains.  My shield protects me in the market place and sustains me when I am alone.  It uplifts me in moments of despair yet it calms me in time of exultation.  It becomes stronger and more protective with use until one day I cast it aside and walk unencumbered among all manners of men (and women) and, when I do, my name is raised high on the pyramid of life.”

The above paragraph is Og Mandino giving the analogy of what I call detachment with love.  Human beings are motivated by his or her feelings when the feelings create energy, happiness, and love.  When one allows less than stellar feelings to enter the mind, it can have the opposite effect.  Who wants to feel less than stellar and less than motivated?  This means that we must choose to be the Mastermind of our own feelings!  Because human beings are created with emotions, there will be times when we feel those less than stellar ones come in such as fear, sadness, stress (aka anxiety), and anger.  Do you want those emotions to control you, or do you want to control them?  Our emotions come in play typically from a direct response from a stimulus.  If I allow a person whom I have interaction with to cause an emotion, I also have a choice to detach with love.  This means that I do not need to take on another’s problems, actions, or less than stellar emotions as part of my own.  Rather than allowing myself to be affected by someone else, I choose to be the cause and effect of all that is good in my world.

We all will face challenges in this journey of life to achieve our greatest wealth in all areas.  Everyone has times of loss and other life lessons.  We have a choice to focus on the blessings earned and applying our gained knowledge to build a greater life for ourselves and the future generations.  This is what I define as true love.

Week 7-MKMMA 2017/18: Self Love

You can not truly share love with others if you are not giving yourself great and unconditional love!

Screenshot_20171107-070315

“I greet this day with love in my heart.” is the start of Scroll II and our repeated sentence throughout this scroll.  As you continue to read toward the end of the scroll Og Mandino writes, “And most of all I love myself.”  He continues in that paragraph to go over all the actions he does in order to display that love to himself.

In the MasterKey Mastermind Alliance, we all enter this Pay It Forward program taking our color code personality at http://www.colorcode.com.  I am a blue.  What does it mean to be a blue?  It means that my subconscious mind is pre-programmed to be a helper.  This is an amazingly great quality in business and in my personal life so long as I don’t take it to the extreme.  A helper must remember to be a helper of God or whomever you call the Higher Power of the Universe and a Self-Helper before you can effectively help anyone else.  I like to call myself a recovering obsessive-compulsive helper.

What is an OCD Helper?  As a helper personality, I get contacted so much throughout each day via phone, text, messenger on social media, e-mail, and the like.  I have people who ask for my opinion which is ironic as we are on the Mental Diet which tells us to refrain from having an opinion for a whole week.  I have many who reach out for help.  I must make sure that I am making good choices on whom to help and who to let help themselves or to fall in order to get the help that he or she needs.  As a helper, it is quite easy to lose track of yourself as you continually help others.  This, in the long run, is not helpful to anyone.  Life is like being a passenger on an airplane, you must put on your own oxygen mask first in order to help others.

I am grateful that we are regimented in our schedules.  As a secondary yellow which means that I enjoy my “fun” time, I offset the giving of my heart, soul, and mind in helping others with enjoyable activities which are beneficial to me and sometimes more than me as well.  I schedule time to be active or workout.  I schedule time with my son that is not focused on homework, reading, or cleaning the house.  All of those acts of service are acts of self-love and someone like me also needs to feel the love with some activities that are purely for enjoyment.  In caring about myself enough to take some down time, I more effectively execute all tasks whether being business related, mother duty related, friend related, church related or otherwise.

(The above photo is my son as an Army Soldier for Halloween, and I was a Special Agent from “Men in Black”.  We love our fun time!)

If I do not take the time to show love to myself, I can hit the wall also known as the burnout factor.  I like to work with other go-getters whether they are high energy like me or my offset of laid-back, but still get it done.  All types of people are needed to make our world go round.  That being said, as I display love to myself, I choose to collaborate with those who will reciprocate my energy or at least maintain it.  There will always be people who may or may not be trying to drain your energy.  It is critical to have enough love for yourself to know how to participate (even if participating means refraining) with those interactions.  That is what I like to call detachment with love which is another action of self-love.  I will use that for a topic for the end of the week.

WEEK 5-MKMMA 2017/18: New Habits

As we are finishing up the first month of my third year as a Lifetime Member of the MasterKey Mastermind Alliance also known as the #MasterKeyExperience, it may appear that I have mad a poor habit of falling off the Universe.

Appearances can be deceiving.  Two people can look at the same painting and notice different details, two children can be born to the same parents and have a different relationship, and two siblings that are twins can indeed look nothing a like.

As is the usual pace of my life since starting the MasterKey MasterMind Alliance with Mark Januszewski and Davene Januszewski, I get more work coming my way than I could possibly do at the same time.  The biggest challenge about all of the blessings coming my way is I have learned to say no to opportunities that are fabulous, but do not match my DMP.  I am very fortunate in the fact that God or the Powers of the Universe if you prefer that title, has given me not just one gift, but a whole arsenal of gifts.  I have had people outright call me “gifted”.  I have learned to stop feeling uncomfortable about that term and instead own it with self-love and respond with “thank you.”  As a Blue, Helper Personality, I make sure that the person giving me a compliment also realizes how gifted they are with his or her strength!

Some other new habits that I am proud to be sticking to is doing a nice job of putting myself and my son as priority and saying no to others close to me outside of that circle including other family members.  I am a single mom raising an 8 year old boy, and I have more than the recommended seven streams of income for wealth.  In fact, there are times when I take inventory to decide if I can get rid of some.  It is like chess to me.  I am the Queen or as I am known on Social Media, the #QueenBea.  As nice as a King sounds, that piece is pretty useless on a chess board so I am not looking at that.  The knights and rooks are quite useful so those businesses need to stay.  Any pawn businesses need to be removed.  What if I believe the pawn is really a Queen in Training?  Then, I hold onto the business and work it at my own pace as I do all of my businesses.

One can not successfully work multiple businesses at the same time.  How do I do it?  I schedule my time just like I do for clients.  An hour or two on each business.  Sometimes, even 30 minutes is better than 0 minutes.  I also schedule my Spiritual time, my time with my son, my active or exercise time, and am now putting friends in the position to pay for my services as I am not a FREE business woman.  It is okay for me to donate time to a charity or a little time to help a friend.  That being said, when a friend talks to me as much as if he or she has hired me to be their Life Strategist also known as a Wealthy & Life Coach, I need to make it clear that I am paid for those services, and I happily offer a friends and family discount.

The below picture shows the super fun Mother-Son Hoedown from my son’s school.  We had a blast with the quality time, socializing, and dancing together!

I am grateful and celebrate each day, my personal progress, and the progress of both my program and my businesses.

I am thankful that I incorporate creativity and fun into business as I don’t enjoy dull, monotonous, and generally boring work.  To celebrate creativity, I have inserted the “Prince” video below.  I hope that you all enjoy a little time for work and play!

MKMMA 2016/17-Week 17: A Helper Learns Wealth & Lives a Golden Lifestyle

I’m grateful and celebrate each day!  I expected to get out this blog a day or two ago, but I am technologically improving each day.  I ran into a challenge that required me to reset my lap top.  I’m thrilled that talking it through with a helper in information technology allowed me to learn and fix my lap top myself.  Thanks Ken!

This has been a very interesting week.  I’m so in the flow of abundance.  I have turned down some business partnerships that are not in 100% harmony with my definite major purpose.  I am launching my wealth and life coaching business and what makes me unique is I also incorporate your health through neuroscience, nutrition, and exercise.  I’m negotiating out a potential facility to offer a program for families that will also benefit a non-for-profit that is close to my heart.  Finally, I have made a verbal agreement with the Marvelous Mark Januszewski to have a joint partnership in a health and wellness endeavor.  We are starting defining our purpose and plan after the launch of Go 90 Grow which is his network marketing skills training including an active “Think And Grow Rich” practice of which I am an affiliate and grateful lifetime member.  I maintain my other business endeavors, and of course, my priority remains to be a leader for myself, my son, and society.  There is not a more important job than my connection with myself and being a Golden Mom to my son.

As a helper and an outside observer to the world at large, it appears that I am not the only helper who was less than stellar at living up to my financial and leadership potential.  What I learned from my own journey (and I find that which many helpers relate) is that we are so focused on helping others and as many causes as we can that we lose the vision and execution of helping ourselves.  This is evidenced with our own personal wealth and sometimes even our health.  We unintentionally do not put our maximum effort into the leadership role in which we so effectively can thrive as we are too distracted with our addiction to being a helper.  For myself and many others I know, the subject of wealth and money are taboo.  We feel (yes, we are those feelings people and self-righteous!) as if we are not servicing when being an unstoppable force in creating wealth.  In fact, my Bodacious Blanca also known as my intellectual side states the facts.  The fact is the more wealthy that I make myself; the more help that I can provide to others and the causes that I choose to service.

Week 4: MKMMA 2016/17-Giving Kindness

I give kindness as much as possible in my life.  When I see that I can do better, I take accountability.  I am moving slower with my blogs this year.  This week, I need to share the kindness with myself to get my week 5 blog out as well.

giving

The funny thing as we talk about giving is I have had many people ask me over the last two weeks if I am always this kind.  I say thank you, and my goal is always to lead with kindness and love.  You find a domino effect occur from this.  This is the whole law of giving.  In essence, what you give out will come back to you.  Many times, it comes back greater if you keep your eyes and ears open.

What are you giving to the world today?  We each have something.  I give kindness, love, and encouragement as much as possible.  I give gratitude and acknowledgement.  I give regardless of whether or not it comes back as that is a part of love.

I am grateful and celebrate each day.

I promise to live and give to my definite major purpose which provides me with my personal pivotal needs of liberty & true health.

I always keep my promises.  Cathy

Week 3: MKMMA 2016/17-Continuing to Fine Tune

Watching the week 3 webinar sat with me in a few ways.  The first is as Davene and Mark went over DMPs, I found that Liberty does seem to give me both time and financial freedom which is from where my brain was initially coming.  It sits better with me when I read liberty over autonomy and gives me a huge feeling of joy so I have chosen to keep liberty.  It was great to try on autonomy.  I do require that as well, and all of the personal pivotal needs are met when we focus on our two primary needs.  True health always sits with me.  If you don’t have your health, what will anything else do for you?

I also am refining my own DMP.  I remember going through DMPs last year.  I tuned in to being even more detailed.  Words and specificity are so important to train my brain to go after what I desire.  Therefore, I have been able to improve it further.

autumn-leaves

The other link that I thought about with our changing weather and fall settling in is how appropriate it is to be reading Scroll 1 in Og Mandino’s The Greatest Salesman in the World.  “Today I begin a new life.  Today I shed my old skin…”  Today, outside my place leaves are changing colors and they are shedding as I am changing to create a better version of myself with the many other members of the MasterKey Mastermind Alliance.  What a beautiful and harmonious Universe!

I promise to live my definite major purpose which provides my personal pivotal needs of liberty and true health.

I am grateful and celebrate today and everyday!

Week 2: MKMMA 2016/2017 Personal Pivotal Needs

Okay, so I am behind in my blogging which is not part of the good habits.  However, I do forgive myself.  Part of my journey last year was definitely realizing that driving to perfection is wonderful, but we are perfectly evolving human beings doing more to be a better version of ourselves.  It is that time of year with large weather changes in Chicago throughout the day.  For me, that seems to be the hard time for allergies in the early fall especially as well as late spring.  Although my duration of sleep has been good, I was not waking up well rested.  Is it possible to push past that…yes.  However, that continues a viscous cycle of a lack of care.  With health and wellness being one of my endeavors, I need to make sure that I am taking care of my own as one of my personal pivotal needs is true health.

choices

Going through this program a second time had me lean in more to autonomy versus liberty.  Last year, I was listening to that cast in the airport and remember being on the border of liberty and recognition for creative expression.  The good news is no matter which personal pivotal needs you choose, you will find that you indeed get them all after accomplishing your chosen two.  What I noticed this year is liberty, the financial freedom for which most people desire versus autonomy being the ability to come and go as you please.  Autonomy is more important to me.  I can not buy back time with my son to handle the responsibilities with him.  Even some day, when he is an adult, I would still rather have freedom with my schedule over a little more money.  The good news is that these needs come as a package deal.

I gratefully realized that I really have my needs met.  Now it is a matter of manifesting them in a great abundance.

I am grateful and celebrate life everyday!

I promise to live my definite major purpose everyday which provides my personal pivotal needs of true health & autonomy!
