MKMMA 2016/17-Week 17: A Helper Learns Wealth & Lives a Golden Lifestyle

I’m grateful and celebrate each day!  I expected to get out this blog a day or two ago, but I am technologically improving each day.  I ran into a challenge that required me to reset my lap top.  I’m thrilled that talking it through with a helper in information technology allowed me to learn and fix my lap top myself.  Thanks Ken!

This has been a very interesting week.  I’m so in the flow of abundance.  I have turned down some business partnerships that are not in 100% harmony with my definite major purpose.  I am launching my wealth and life coaching business and what makes me unique is I also incorporate your health through neuroscience, nutrition, and exercise.  I’m negotiating out a potential facility to offer a program for families that will also benefit a non-for-profit that is close to my heart.  Finally, I have made a verbal agreement with the Marvelous Mark Januszewski to have a joint partnership in a health and wellness endeavor.  We are starting defining our purpose and plan after the launch of Go 90 Grow which is his network marketing skills training including an active “Think And Grow Rich” practice of which I am an affiliate and grateful lifetime member.  I maintain my other business endeavors, and of course, my priority remains to be a leader for myself, my son, and society.  There is not a more important job than my connection with myself and being a Golden Mom to my son.

As a helper and an outside observer to the world at large, it appears that I am not the only helper who was less than stellar at living up to my financial and leadership potential.  What I learned from my own journey (and I find that which many helpers relate) is that we are so focused on helping others and as many causes as we can that we lose the vision and execution of helping ourselves.  This is evidenced with our own personal wealth and sometimes even our health.  We unintentionally do not put our maximum effort into the leadership role in which we so effectively can thrive as we are too distracted with our addiction to being a helper.  For myself and many others I know, the subject of wealth and money are taboo.  We feel (yes, we are those feelings people and self-righteous!) as if we are not servicing when being an unstoppable force in creating wealth.  In fact, my Bodacious Blanca also known as my intellectual side states the facts.  The fact is the more wealthy that I make myself; the more help that I can provide to others and the causes that I choose to service.

Week 4: MKMMA 2016/17-Giving Kindness

I give kindness as much as possible in my life.  When I see that I can do better, I take accountability.  I am moving slower with my blogs this year.  This week, I need to share the kindness with myself to get my week 5 blog out as well.

The funny thing as we talk about giving is I have had many people ask me over the last two weeks if I am always this kind.  I say thank you, and my goal is always to lead with kindness and love.  You find a domino effect occur from this.  This is the whole law of giving.  In essence, what you give out will come back to you.  Many times, it comes back greater if you keep your eyes and ears open.

What are you giving to the world today?  We each have something.  I give kindness, love, and encouragement as much as possible.  I give gratitude and acknowledgement.  I give regardless of whether or not it comes back as that is a part of love.

I am grateful and celebrate each day.

I promise to live and give to my definite major purpose which provides me with my personal pivotal needs of liberty & true health.

I always keep my promises.  Cathy

Post MKMMA 2016: The Big Secret is…..Law of Attraction is not a Secret!

Oh My!  Has Positive Mental Attitude Cathy Turned Into a Balloon Popper?

The Law of Attraction seems to be the “new in thing”.  Do you believe there is a secret to it?  Thinking maybe there exists a underground society that knows how to use it while you don’t?  My logic has always displayed the “like attracts like” concept.  Let’s think here.  If you are a positive person, how appealing is it to be in a room of negative people?  If you are an adventurous person, do you want to go on vacation with a couch potato or another adventurer?  I see it as part of the Law of Growth which is what you think about grows which leads to the Law of Attraction.

What you see in others you have in yourself.  It is true.  All people have qualities that are to be admired and room to improve.  With the good qualities, my MasterKey Mastermind Alliance has taught me to recognize, relate, assimilate, and apply.  That is not break through rocket science.  It is just something that I needed to hear and apply.  The not-so-secret secret of life is about doing the work.  I think that most people understand you get out of life what you put into it.  That being said, this program has given me more like-minded individuals, more tools for improvement and success in all areas of life, and the real work to get there.

There are many great things that I was doing previous to the Masterkey Mastermind Alliance, and I was doing well in life.  Previous to the MasterKeys, I had and still do have a wonderful life accountability partner and am someone else’s.  I would wake-up early almost everyday and read meaningful literature.  I had taken a solid inventory of myself and knew exactly how my color code personality test would come up before taking it because I knew myself.  I chose happiness everyday, but sometimes those life challenges aka hero’s journeys were still rough.  I met with like-minded individuals regularly.  I followed so many great guidelines in life.  However, I am always looking to evolve to the next level.  With the Masterkey Mastermind Alliance, I have learned how to retrain my subconscious mind through focused and intentional exercises aka work, and I now have turned many weaknesses into strengths which makes me so proud.   This is in addition to a plethera of amazing literature and information.  I, also, have a fabulous like-minded Mastermind partner and have had wonderful personal connections with many others in our alliance.  Just like the very first scroll from Og Mandino’s The Greatest Salesman in the World, I have mastered many new good habits, and “if I must be a slave to habit, let me be a slave to good habits.”  I am a constantly improving and evolving perfectly, imperfect human being.

(The beautiful picture above was made by a fellow Masterkey friend, Daniel Bozza.)

I am so in the flow of the Universe and myself.  I feel the harmony in all areas.  I am grateful and celebrate life everyday!  What have I personally had in the last week since I have written?  Business is picking up in all of my endeavors.  I can’t wait to officially announce some new programming that I am starting, but I need to finalize the details first.  My son is turning into such a little man helping me as much as possible, making his bed everyday, utilizing his independent thinking to make good choices in his own evolution, and we did our first 5K run together.  I am so proud of him!  He chose to run 5K over a kids dash.  I taught him run/walk etiquette for the safety, well-being, and consideration of us and those around us.  He ran 65-70% of the time walking in intervals for the other 30-35%.  The 5K that we ran raised money for STEM and athletics at his school.  We have decided that we will pick a 5K a month in the nice weather that raises money for children or family causes.  I am a firm believer that the best thing that you can do as a parent is be a good example.

Mommy and Tyler First 5K

This month’s scroll is “Today I will multiply my value a hundredfold.”  I am a visual and kinesthetic learner.  Og creates some great word pictures that I am sharing with you that resonate with me.

“I am liken to a grain of wheat which faces one of three futures.  The wheat can be placed in a sack and dumped in a stall until it is fed to a swine.  Or it can be ground to flour and made into bread.  Or it can be placed in the earth and allowed to grow until its golden head divides and produces a thousand grains from the one.”

“I am liken to a grain of wheat with one difference.  The wheat cannot choose whether it be fed to swine, ground for bread, or planted to multiply.  I have a choice and I will not let my life be fed to swine nor will I let it be ground under the rocks of failure and despair to be broken open and devoured by the will of others.”

“To grow and multiply it is necessary to plant the wheat grain in the darkness of the earth and my failures, my dispairs, my ignorance, and my inabilities are the darkness in which I have been planted in order to ripen.  Now, like the wheat grain which will sprout and blossom only if it is nurtured with rain and sun and warm winds, I too must nurture my body and mind to fulfill my dreams.  But to grow to full stature the wheat must wait on the whims of nature.  I need not wait for I have the power to choose my own destiny.”

Red Head

He continues, “The height of my goals will not hold me in awe though I may stumble often before they are reached.  If I stumble I will rise and my falls will not concern me for all men (and women) must stumble often to reach the hearth.  Only a worm is free from the worry of stumbling.  I am not a worm.  I am not an onion plant.  I am not a sheep.  I am a man (woman in my case).  Let others build a cave with their clay.  I will build a castle with mine.”

I promise to live my definite major purpose which provides my personal pivotal needs of liberty and true health.

I always keep my promises.  Cathy

Today and everyday, I am grateful and celebrate life!

Post MKMMA 2016-Success In Life Is Being True To Yourself

I can not believe that I have allowed six weeks to go by without posting!  I apologize to my awesome friends old and new who have been reading.  For those of you who follow my Facebook, you will see that I have moved for the first time in over 10 years.  Moving is always a big event. I am grateful that I had movers for the big stuff.  The work of packing, organizing, and setting up a new place in addition to my business endeavors, and mother duties has filled my days.  I am honored that you are taking part of your day to read my blog.

I have been continuing my Master Key Exercises, and I will be the first to admit that I could be better.  However, as one of my fellow Master Key Friends likes to say, “Don’t let the perfect get in the way of the good.”  Therefore, I happily appreciate what I have practiced and am adding more back in this week.  I have a confession.  Pushing for that perfect and losing out on a critical need such as good sleep is a problem for me.  I celebrate the different ability with those who can do the few hours a night.  This fitness professional needs 7-8  hours with 6 being a minimum.  Anything less causes me to function at less than my fully successful state.  I forgive and love my imperfections as much as my strengths and happily accept that I can’t do everything at the same time.

In April, as I was reading Scroll VII in Og Mandino’s, “The Greatest Salesman in the World”.  I could enjoy my challenges even more as it talks about laughing at the world and yourself.  Fortunately, that is something that I have been doing for several years.  I feel that it is my job as a human being to evolve.  That being said, we all have quirks and qualities that can be improved.  When I notice a less than stellar attribute, I enjoy the moment to laugh at myself and am grateful for how far I have come.

This month’s scroll has talked about multiplying ourself one hundred fold.  I agree Og.  Now is the time.  I need to do it now.  That being said, I am back to blogging and indeed am stepping up my duties to be helping with the MasterKey MasterMind Alliance Benefits and Blogging Task Force.  I enjoy the writing, and I love the experience so I saw this as a great way for me to contribute in paying it forward and to learn even more.  I am attending a party this evening where I will meet new people and will be given a little time to share my business.  I have also been spending some sit time on deciding to grow my fitness part of my business in my own neighborhood.  I have had several parents over the last couple of years want me to teach.  True to myself, I love teaching, helping others with exercise, and the fact that I can make a difference in my own neighborhood is appealing.  I can charge more money if I were to take on a similar business endeavor in a more affluent neighborhood.  However, Success In Life Is Being True To Yourself.  When you do what you love, that follows your purpose, all of your needs will be met.  I need to do some more planning as every business has logistics so I will keep you posted.

Through all the changes, my boy has been amazing.  He is still doing great in school, had a smooth transition with the move, and we are enjoying our new home.  I believe that children and in fact most people will follow your lead.  By sharing my positivity and happiness in all areas, I receive the same back from others including the cute 6 year old.

Happy Mother’s Day to all!  I look forward to a nice day with my boy.  My son is going to have some quality time with Grandma while I give myself the gift of my favorite workout class.  That also gives me plenty of time to lift weights.  Then, we’ll all go out for lunch.  If the weather cooperates we’ll enjoy one of Chicago’s fabulous parks, and if not, we’ll make it a fabulous movie, bowling, or museum.  The above picture is from two weeks ago when we enjoyed my nephew’s first birthday and a formal mother/son dance at school.  I have always been a believer in family first.  This lines up with my MasterKey Mastermind Alliance as you are encouraged to schedule your family time.  If you don’t have success at home, how can you expect success anywhere else?

Remember, even if you are not a mom, you may be someone’s chosen mom.  What does that mean?  Someone sees you as a positive role model in his or her life.  There are even single dads who are playing mom and dad.  Not to mention, if you are on this Earth, you have a mom whether she is still living or in the after life so there is reason for celebration for all tomorrow.  For your enjoyment, I shared a picture below of a hanging in our home.  It aligns with my own beliefs, my Mastermind Experience, and I hope that you will enjoy it too.

(Note: I had a consultation for my hosted blog.  I am going to get that started on or before next Saturday which I would guess would mean a couple of weeks before that is ready.  When it is complete, I’ll let you know how to get there and give you some free goodies for continuing to follow me.  In the meantime, I will continue to blog here on WordPress.)

Week 24: MKMMA 2016-Commencement, Resurrection, and New Beginnings

It’s ironic that our commencement of this year’s Masterkey Mastermind Alliance comes at the time that Christians are celebrating Easter and spring has just begun.  Many people think of commencement as an end, but in reality it means a beginning or start.  This is really, the start of a new chapter of life.  We leave with our Mastermind partners, continued drills and exercises.  There are more scrolls for us to read on our own.  There are plenty of lessons to review.  Not to mention, flashcards, posters, and audio to keep us on the right path.  I continue to work on my improvement, refinement, and evolution.

New Beginnings

Right now, Christians are preparing for their Easter celebrations in which they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.  Resurrection is exactly what most of us are working on in the MKMMA.  Going back to my very first blog, we are chipping that concrete off of our subconscious mind resurrecting our most true selves.  For myself, personally, I see certain characteristics that I am bringing back as well as doing the work replace habits that are not useful toward my definite major purpose.

I like the commencement speech below given by Jim Carrey where he talks about fear hidden in practicality as well as the ability to fail at what you don’t want so you might as well take a chance at doing what you love.

One thing to bear in mind on the road that he does not share is his journey.  Your mission needs a method.  For example, many people I know in theater or television spent time serving tables, bartending, or in the fitness industry on the way to achieve their dharma.  Literally this morning, I see on Facebook a picture of my friend who I have as the reporter in my own futuristic press release reporting on his first NCAA March Madness tournament.  We have known each other for about 22 years.  He started off at small paper in another county that is not even considered a Chicago suburban area, made his way to the Chicago Tribune, and today is reporting from the NCAA tournament.  That circles back to week 1 in the course. “Desire with a state of mind that becomes an obsession, the planning the definite ways and means, and backing the plan with persistence.”  Are you obsessed?

I look forward with excitement to this new beginning of my life.  I can’t say that I have it all figured out, but I am getting there.  I keep the things that work and progress and change the things that don’t.  I can choose to live the life of the ordinary, or I can choose to make a life that is extraordinary!  Next stop, hosted blog and keep on moving forward.  I am continuing to blog so I appreciate all of my supporters and hope that I encounter you on the journey.

I promise to live my definite major purpose which provides my personal pivotal needs of liberty and true health.

I always keep my promises.  Cathy

Week 23: MKMMA 2016-Expanding the Comfort Zone

I will let you in on a little secret.  The comfort zone has really been expanding since week 1.  Although we actively talked about this subject and I have put some personal though into it, the fact is the stretching of the comfort zone began the very first week.

When I entered the MKMMA program, I had a regular morning routine of reading.  I also took some time to myself whether in silence or to write, but not for the 15-30 minutes of silence.  I along with others have been adding other exercises and routines in my daily life.  I would be a liar if I said that I had it down pat.  However, every thing in life is about progressing and evolving.  That is why I like that we expand the comfort zone.  It makes sense.

Expanding the comfort zone

You’ll hear the phrase that you have to jump out of your comfort zone to be successful in getting the life that you want.  Is that realistic?  When I think about that as a certified S.C.U.B.A. diver, I don’t just jump off the boat and go for it.  I need to check my tools.  How full is my oxygen tank and is it properly connected?  Is my regulator working?  Do I have my octopus (spare regulator) handy where I can reach it if necessary?  Is the inflation of my BCD working?  I wear a snorkel so I don’t need to waste oxygen on the surface, etc.  The tools of expanding our comfort zone are the feelings that keep some in the comfort zone fear, anger, unworthiness, guilt, and hurt feelings.  How can these be tools you may ask?  The law of dual thought allows us to attach any feeling to a thought.  Let’s look at the positive feelings that can be obtained from these tools.

Fear: When we are in fear, we find that we have heightened energy, concentration, and focus.  We have a choice to use the benefits of fear as a tool to drive us forward in our goals.

Anger: which is also sadness turned inward, gives us a great burst of energy.  Rather than wasting the energy stewing on a person or a situation, we can choose to use that energy to create the life that we desire.

Unworthiness: Keeps us on track.  We are worthy of anything that we want, but we can not have everything at the same time.  We may that we have overbooked ourselves and need to reprioritize.  Another thing is we realize that we are not focusing on the main thing to reach our definite major purpose and need to get off the side road and back onto the highway.

Guilt: Is a validation of the good in us.  When we feel guilty it means that we know what to do and how to do it.  Don’t waste a minute feeling bad.  Use the energy of knowing your goodness to progress forward in your purpose.

Hurt Feelings: Remind us of how much we care.  When I share my business, which is a drive for me to create a better life for my son and help others with their needs, there are people who choose not to join me.  The sensitive side in me could allow myself to be hurt by why someone wouldn’t support my business and the compassionate woman could have hurt feelings for why they don’t want more for their family or themselves.  However, that it perspective.  That person just doesn’t see it as a match for their needs right now, and I move forward in my business success without him or her.

I consider the expansion of one’s comfort zone necessary in the evolution of becoming more.  It’s funny how much people can find small steps to be a big deal.  On Friday, I went to a fundraiser to raise money for the Chicago Youth Centers by myself.  I met some nice new people, and I gave my money to a worthy organization.  It doesn’t matter if the people I met lead to business growth, personal growth, or just a nice evening out.  However, many people were so impressed that I would just come to a charity event solo and had a lot of respect.  I have respect for those children who are choosing to make more of themselves at a young age.

I promise to continue to expand my comfort zone which helps me live my definite major purpose which provides my personal pivotal needs of liberty and true health.

I always keep my promises.  Cathy

Today and everyday, I am grateful and celebrate life!

Week 22A-MKMMA 2016: Enjoy the Silence

During our break, we were asked to find some time in silence.  In an ideal world, I would have taken a weekend away in nature.  I was curious to see what would occur.  I know some people who have been on silent retreats who found it very therapeutic.  I usually hear stories of working through past issues which is a release.

I did not have the perfect silence  However, it was more than what I had been doing.  I had a couple of things scheduled, but I managed to take a social media vacation and spend majority of the weekend in silence.  I meditated, got extra sleep, thought about the expansion of my comfort zone, and my definite major purpose.  I enjoyed some walking time outside as the weather was lovely, and I am very grateful for that living in Chicago.  I put extra focus on enjoying the miracles of my surroundings.  Being a condo dweller, there was loudness in my silence.  I could hear vacuuming, piano playing, neighbors having a disagreement, and more.  It’s not easy to tune those things out.  I thought about silence and simplicity.  On occasion, I would feel a brief moment of loneliness.  During those moments, I simply closed my eyes and brought my hands to my heart.  This immediately removed that feeling and brought my happy connection to the Universe back.  I enjoyed going through my gratitudes and how truly fortunate I am to be here on this earth.

I reflected on how silence is critical to our relationships as it is part of the art of listening.  This includes the relationship with ourself to get our own answers from the world within.  It’s funny as a fellow Master Keys student included in her blog something that came during my own silence as well.  You are what you eat, and I do believe this to be true.  Therefore, what sort of thoughts are you feeding yourself?

I am making time for a more proper silence in my future where I can spend more time in nature.  It will be interesting to see what is revealed to me at that time.

I promise to live my definite major purpose everyday which provides my personal pivotal needs of liberty and true health.

I always keep my promises.  Cathy
