I, like my fellow students, have been working on my world within since our first day. Like many, I have been working on it for some time. One of the questions we have been asking ourself is “what am I pretending not to know?” Fact is I am a person of self-awareness. I am aware of my strengths and weaknesses. I believe, just like in the movie “Finding Joe” that many of us watched last week, that I, like all human beings, am both my own hero and my own enemy. We can look at outside circumstance, but the fact of the matter is we are where we are due to our own choices in life. Therefore, we must slay our own dragons within us. In essence, we are rescuing ourselves from ourselves. I correlate this to the re-programming of our subconscious minds which we like to refer to as our blueprint. We need to kill that old blueprint for a new one. The old blueprint may have served us well in a certain time in our life. However, it is time for a new hero!
Then, we question ourselves “what would the person I intend to become do next?” Aw…fiddlesticks! I have to be more now. I have to do more now. This is what will lead me to my accomplishing my definite major purpose or Dharma. I believe we are meant to evolve as human beings. If you are feeling that you have done all that you are meant to do on this planet, that means you are basically waiting for death?!?!? I know that I choose to be grateful and celebrate each day.
Our final question is “when will I begin?” Tomorrow is not guaranteed which leads us back to a basic principle from our very first week…”Do It Now!”
I promise to live my definite major purpose which supplies my personal pivotal needs of Liberty and True Health.
I always keep my promises. Cathy
Today and everyday, I am grateful and celebrate!
