Week 17-MKMMA 2016: Virtues and Self-Improvement

As we continue to work on our virtues and self-improvement, I focus on the line in our reading of Og Mandino’s The Greatest Salesman in the World “Within me burns a flame which has been passed from generations uncounted and its heat is a constant irritation to my spirit to become better than I am, and I will”.

I have been enjoying the miracles that come along with being who I am and seeing the miracles that others bring to the table.  We are all born with purpose and have something to contribute.  As I notice the virtues in others that I want to improve in myself, I have tried making some adjustments to better myself.  Some things work wonderful with my miraculous self.  Other things, I need to find my own way of doing and improving as I enjoy my differences.  The most important thing for me is enjoying the process.

Enjoy the process

  1. Kathy, Isn’t it great to be able to give yourself permission to “find my own way of doing things”? I am used to finding my own ways, but feeling guilty for not being a conformist. I am gratefully learning to turn that on its head. Good for you, good for you!
